Hello:
So, according to this (link -> www.nasa.gov/press-release/nas…), NASA finally confirms that liquid water still exist in Mars.

How is this possible? because the water deposits are made of salty water, salty water can remain in liquid state for much lower temperatures than normal water.

It is a great discovery because it was common belief that all remaining water in the planet were only in the ice caps and in subterranean ice deposits. While that is still true, the fact that liquid water flows in the less-cold months opens the windows to new researchs.

I am glad they let NASA tell the world about that.... *hides*.

Well, what about life? At this point nothing can be said, how could something be said until a probe or rover will actually go to the points water flows in the summer months... but, if extremophiles exist in way unfriendly ambients here on Earth, there might be a chance of some still living in Mars, who knows? ;) . I am just speculating though :D (I still think Europa has more chances :p ).

This is awesome news! I agree with you that Europa is a better candidate, but still... WOW!
